My posture has improved and I feel much stronger and more toned too.

How long have you been doing Pilates?
I have been doing Pilates at POWMAK for 6 months. I’d never done Pilates before this.

Do you do matwork or equipment Pilates?
I do both mat and equipment Pilates.

Why did you start doing Pilates?
I was recommended to try POWMAK as I sustained a back injury which worsened a chronic lower back issue that I had for many years previously.

How does Pilates benefit you/how has your body changed?
When I first came to POWMAK I was in a lot of pain – it hurt to drive and work, even walk and sleep. I have gradually strengthened my muscles and Pilates keeps me pain free. My posture has improved and I feel much stronger and more toned too which is great!

What do you love about Pilates?
I love the way Pilates helps to ease tension in my muscles as well as strengthening them. I always feel more relaxed and energetic after a session.

What do you love about POWMAK?
I really enjoy going to POWMAK as the exercises we do are always varied to keep things interesting and the classes are taught by very knowledgeable teachers in a positive and fun way. I look forward to going to POWMAK (2-3 times a week) to re-balance my body and get stronger and fitter to boot.
